Miss Stacey was one of the very few lucky residents able to take complete advantage of free funding offered through her local council for External Wall Insulation (EWI) in 2021. The funding for insulating Miss Stacey’s home was obtained via the National Energy Foundation (NEF), who worked with us to save residents’ money on their bills.
A year later, Platinum Park Home Services (PPHS) contacted Miss Stacey with further funding available for Underfloor Insulation (UFI) & Solar Photovoltaic (Solar PV), and she was thrilled to have the opportunity to work with us again.
PPHS carried out External Wall & Underfloor Insulation and a brand new 2.04kW in-roof Solar PV system.
A brand new Decentralised mechanical ventilation system was installed in her home. The additional works required to enable us to start on the External Wall Insulation on the home also involved relocating a sky dish, extending her LPG regulator and pipes & extending all external electrical sockets.
Miss Stacey’s work began on her home, and did take longer than usual due to the particularly unpleasant winter weather conditions at the time. However, we ensured good communication between Miss Stacey and our office was maintained throughout, and kept her faith in the works being installed and in PPHS.
Our Solar PV installation team took two days to install her new GSE in-roof Solar PV system which was an extremely smooth process from start to finish. During the install, our team noticed that Miss Stacey had a huge problem with her electrics caused by another electrician, and immediately arranged for one of our own electricians to rectify the issue.
