At Platinum Park Home Services, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to benefit from the Government funding being offered. After all, if you don’t take advantage of it then someone else will!
Why are you offering me funding? Surely it’s a scam!
The UK Government has an obligation to spend allocated money on upgrading the fabric of residential properties through insulation & renewable measures. They aim to spend large swathes of this money through funded schemes, with the works facilitated and carried out by companies like ours.
Where does the money come from?
The Government allocates their funding through the Local Authorities & appointed funding providers.
We then help you access your grant, carry out the work on your home and then claim the money directly from the providers.
What is ECO Funding?
The Government’s ECO4 funding scheme is set to run from now until March 2026 with the points detailed below as their main focus:
- Continue to target low income and vulnerable, and fuel poor households
- Greater support and deeper retrofit for the least energy efficient homes, requiring homes to meet new minimum energy efficiency requirements
Their commitment and objective is to ensure low income households have access to sustainable, low carbon warmth as part of a fair transition to net zero. They believe a home should be warm, comfortable and support the health of its occupants. Living in a cold home can result in a range of negative health outcomes and exacerbate respiratory conditions.

How does it work?
All residents must undergo an eligibility assessment, which is determined during a survey with one of our friendly assessors. They will give you a call to arrange your appointment & ensure to answer any questions you have. Your application will then be reviewed by our Project Management Team, and we will apply for your fully funded grant on your behalf. The best part about it: SAVING YOU MONEY ON YOUR BILLS!
What measures can I apply for?
You could be eligible for External Wall Insulation, Underfloor Insulation and Loft insulation.
You may also be eligible for renewable energy measures including an Air Source Heat Pump & a full Solar PV system. We will go through this with you during the survey stage!
What is the eligibility criteria?
Funding is available to residents who’s household annual income is below £31,000 and who are in receipt of any of the following benefits:
- Income-based Job Seekers Allowance
- Income-related Employment and Support Allowance
- Income Support
- Pension Credit Guarantee Credit
- Working Tax Credit
- Child Tax Credit
- Universal Credit
- Housing Benefit
- Pension Credit Savings Credit
- Child Benefit
What if I am not eligible?
If you don’t receive any of these benefits, don’t worry! So long as your household annual income is below £31,000 then we may be able to get you funding through a scheme called ECOFlex.
ECOFlex is virtually the same scheme, just for those without an eligible benefit, as stated above.
Will I be charged for the survey if they arrive and find I’m not eligible?
Our assessors will review the eligibility requirements with you during a phone call prior to scheduling your appointment. This step is taken to prevent the survey taking place if the eligibility criteria isn’t met. However, if upon arrival at the survey, they find you are not eligible, please do not worry, we would not ask you to cover the cost of your survey.
We would simply keep your details on our internal database ready for the next available scheme you may be eligible for. When one then becomes available, we will get in touch with you and provide you with further information.
